The dare is an invitation to gather the courage and do the same for yourself. The core message is: The past shaped you to this point and you have the power to rewrite the past and choose a different future right here, right now. It also comforts you with the reminder that cracks are the fault lines in our life which let the light come in. "This is who I am" is a magical mirror for the complexity and abundance that create the unique you.
Born in 1967 in Germany as a single child and living with her parents and maternal grandparents who were all refugees during WWII and suffering from PTSD, Sylvia Becker-Hill escaped the confinement and depression of the adults around her by creating her own magical world through her fantasy, reading and the gift of an exceptional creative mind. Being diagnosed as "highly gifted" at the age of four yet not understood by the adults in her life, Sylvia didn't get the support her artistic soul needed to be guided, trained, and feel safe to express herself.
